Greatest Logic Puzzle Collections part1

There is a store window that measures 7 feet high by
7 feet wide. The store decorator wants to paint half the
window blue and still have a square. clear section of window
 that measures 7 feet high by 7 feet wide. How would he
do this?

The fish tank shown here is almost filled to the top with water. Without using a measuring cup of any kind, or a measuring stick, can you remove enough water from the tank so that the water level will be exactly In the middle of the tank? The solution Is easier than you think! Note: This can also be tried with a glass of water, which will be much less sloppy then a fish tank?

Here’s a valuable puzzle for you to solve. Place nine coins on the star, one on each of the world coins except coin number eight. The object of this puzzle is to remove all but one of the coins from the star. You remove a coin by jumping another coin over It along one of the lines. The position that you jump to, beyond the coin, must be empty (the moves are the same as those you would make in a game of checkers).
If you can solve this puzzle within 15 minutes, consider yourself rich in ability.

Shown is the famous “Puzzle Kite.” lb solve the puzzle, you must draw the kite, and the string attached to it, using one continuous line. The line cannot cross itself at any point, nor can you go over any part of the line more than once. You must start the line at the ball of string and end It in the middle of the kite.

Let’s pretend that the four ice-cream sticks shown represent a tall, stemmed glass, and the colored circle Is a large, juicy cherry You must remove the cherry from the glass by moving two of the sticks to new positions. You cannot move the cherry and you must retain the exact shape of the glass.
